Sierra 18-5953-1 Mercruiser 470/485 Alternator Conversion Kit. Converts stator charging system and water cooled voltage regulator to alternator system.
Fits: Mercruiser 3.7 Liter 4-cylinder 470/485 aluminum block engines serial number 4625580 and up.

NOTE: Will NOT install on Inboard engine applications. Must have at least 4" of clearence in front of engine to install "pulley" supplied on existing engine flywheel
ADDITIONAL NOTE: For sterndrive serial number 6902288 and up, a 90 Amp fuse kit - 18-8220 IS REQUIRED, (SOLD SEPARATELY). Prestolite starters with remote solenoid DO NOT require fuse kit.
